CASL - California Association of Student Leaders

CASL is an outgrowth of the work of the California Association of Directors of Activities (CADA) and their commitment to training and providing opportunities for students to be effective leaders. The two organizations work side by side, through the schools in California, in this developmental process. Membership of CADA includes membership in CASL. To become a member of these partnered organizations, helping advisors and students continue to be more effective in our schools and communities, contact the activities director, ASB or Student Council Advisor at your school. Specific information on membership is available on the CADA pages or through CADA Central at 1-888-USE-CADA.

Any person who is connected or involved with a school’s co-curricular program is eligible for an individual general membership or, by adding two additional names, is eligible for a school general membership.

School membership dues provides your school with:

- Eligibility to attend all CADA / CASL conferences

- Individual members receive a one million dollar general

liability coverage for all sanctioned activities.

- Discounts on all conference registrations.

- College credit for the summer leadership program and the

annual conference.

- Each year CADA/CASL recognize outstanding activity

directors, schools, students and volunteers for significant

accomplishment in activities or student leadership.

- Publications include CADA news and CASL Chronicle, the

membership directory and periodic special reports.
